On the occasion of the 11th anniversary pertaining to the Distribution of Free School Books, Hi Friends, Bengre in association with the Regional Congress Committee, Bengre had organized a function to honor Sohan Kotian, who had scored 622 marks in the SSLC exams and overall 4th place in the State level. During this occasion, other talented students namely Mohammed Zameer and Spoorthi were also honored by the Mangalore City South MLA, Mr. J. R. Lobo. Ms. Aksha Salian, Mr. Rahul Kunder, Mr. Ashish and Ms. Vaishnavi from the Sports field were also honored for their outstanding achievement. Dr. V. Ravichandran, C.E.O of Diya Systems, was one of the chief guests present for the function.
During this occasion, the Managing Trustee of GT Foundation, Dr. V. Ravichandran, also distributed School books to approx. 130 students from Class I to Class X, who belonged to the economically challenged families in and around Bengre. This initiative was another addition to the GT Foundation’s ongoing endeavor for providing various philanthropic services.
