GT Foundation, the CSR wing of Diya Systems (Mangalore) Pvt. Ltd./GlowTouch Technologies, in association with the Red Cross Society had organized a Blood Donation Camp at their Campus located at Maryhill, Mangalore on July 22, 2016.
Red Cross Society is a leading Organization in the field of social services and welfare of people who rely on the help of volunteers for all their initiatives and campaigns.
The staff of Diya Systems extended their complete cooperation and support by volunteering to donate their blood. Around 150+ employees volunteered for this noble cause. The team from the Red Cross Society was able to gather 107 Units of blood, which is indeed a very good number. The valuable time spent by the staff in donating their blood is going to give a new lease on life to someone in real need.
Diya Systems/GlowTouch Technologies is organizing the Blood Donation Camp for the third time. Previously, the Company had organized blood donation camps in association with two of the reputed hospitals of Mangalore namely, A.J. Hospital & Research Center and Father Muller Medical College Hospital.
The C.E.O of Diya Systems and Managing Trustee of the GT Foundation, Dr. V. Ravichandran mentioned that “As a part of our Corporate Social Responsibility, we are really glad to undertake this humanitarian initiative and it will always remain our endeavor to undertake such initiatives in the near future.”
